This Extended Warranty Protection Plan (“Extended Warranty,” “Plan,” or “Warranty”) is offered by Ear11 (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) as an optional, paid protection plan for eligible hearing aids purchased through https://www.ear11.com.

By purchasing the Ear11 Extended Warranty, you agree to the terms and conditions set forth below.

1. OVERVIEW OF THE EXTENDED WARRANTY

The Ear11 Extended Warranty is an optional protection plan available for purchase at checkout or within an approved post-purchase window.

  • Price: $159

  • Coverage Period: Up to 2 years (24 months) from the date of activation

  • Eligible Products: Hearing aids purchased directly from Ear11

  • Coverage Scope: Broken, lost, or stolen hearing aids (subject to terms below)

This Extended Warranty is not insurance and is not required to purchase any Ear11 product.

2. DIGITAL WARRANTY CARD & ACTIVATION

Upon successful purchase of the Extended Warranty:

  • Customers will receive a digital warranty card

  • The card will include:

    • Customer name

    • Covered device(s)

    • Warranty start date

    • Warranty expiration date

    • Warranty ID or reference number

The digital warranty card serves as proof of coverage and must be presented when submitting a warranty claim.

Warranty coverage begins on the date of activation, not the shipping date.

3. WHAT THE EXTENDED WARRANTY COVERS

Subject to the terms and limitations of this policy, the Extended Warranty provides coverage for the following events:

A. Accidental Damage / Breakage

Coverage includes functional damage caused by:

  • Accidental drops

  • Cracks

  • Internal component failure due to accidental damage

  • Damage rendering the hearing aid unusable

B. Loss

Coverage applies if the covered hearing aid is:

  • Accidentally lost

  • Not recoverable after reasonable effort

C. Theft

Coverage applies if the covered hearing aid is:

  • Stolen

  • Unrecoverable following theft

Ear11 reserves the right to request reasonable documentation or statements related to loss or theft claims.

4. COVERAGE LIMITATIONS & USAGE RESTRICTIONS

A. Annual Usage Limit

  • Each customer may use the Extended Warranty a maximum of one (1) time per calendar year

  • A maximum of two (2) total claims may be made during the 2-year coverage period

  • Once a claim is used for a given year, coverage for additional claims in that year is exhausted

B. Exhausted Annual Coverage

If a customer has already used their Extended Warranty for the current year:

  • Additional claims will not be automatically approved

  • Customers may contact Ear11 staff to inquire about:

    • Returning customer discounts

    • Replacement pricing options

    • Goodwill accommodations, at Ear11’s sole discretion

Any discount or accommodation is not guaranteed and is evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

5. WHAT THE EXTENDED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER

The Extended Warranty does not cover:

  • Intentional damage or abuse

  • Damage caused by unauthorized modifications or repairs

  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality

  • Loss or theft due to fraud or misrepresentation

  • Accessories (chargers, cases, domes, batteries, etc.) unless explicitly stated

  • Repeated claims within the same year beyond the allowed limit

  • Failure to provide required documentation or digital warranty card

Ear11 reserves the right to deny claims that do not meet eligibility requirements.

6. CLAIM PROCESS & REQUIREMENTS

To submit a claim under the Extended Warranty, customers must:

  1. Contact Ear11 Customer Support

  2. Provide the digital warranty card

  3. Describe the incident (damage, loss, or theft)

  4. Submit any requested documentation or statements

Claims submitted without valid warranty verification may be denied.

7. REPLACEMENT OR RESOLUTION

If a claim is approved, Ear11 may, at its discretion:

  • Repair the hearing aid

  • Replace it with the same or comparable model

  • Provide a refurbished or equivalent replacement

Replacement devices may not be identical in color or cosmetic appearance.

Ear11 does not guarantee brand-new replacements.

8. TRANSFERABILITY

  • The Extended Warranty is non-transferable

  • Coverage applies only to the original purchaser

  • The warranty cannot be resold, assigned, or transferred to another person

9. REFUNDS & CANCELLATION

  • The Extended Warranty is non-refundable once activated

  • If canceled prior to activation, eligibility for refund is determined at Ear11’s discretion

  • No refunds will be issued after a claim has been made

10. WARRANTY EXPIRATION

The Extended Warranty automatically expires:

  • 24 months from the activation date, or

  • Once the maximum allowable claims have been used

Expired warranties cannot be reinstated.

11. FRAUD & MISREPRESENTATION

Any attempt to:

  • Submit false claims

  • Misrepresent loss or theft

  • Manipulate coverage limitations

May result in:

  • Immediate termination of warranty coverage

  • Denial of claims

  • Account restrictions

  • Legal action where appropriate

12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Ear11’s liability under this Extended Warranty is limited to the replacement or repair of the covered hearing aid

  • Ear11 is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Ear11 is not responsible for medical outcomes or hearing-related conditions

13. GOVERNING LAW

This Extended Warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

15. ENTIRE WARRANTY AGREEMENT

This Extended Warranty Policy constitutes the entire agreement between the customer and Ear11 regarding extended warranty coverage and supersedes all prior representations or understandings.

By purchasing the Ear11 Extended Warranty, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this policy in full.
